- Outpatient Therapy: This is a stepped-down level of care. A person comes in for treatment and goes home at night, but they may not spend as many hours doing this. Over time, they may see the amount of time they need to devote to this program lessen.
It may also be beneficial to a person to consider aftercare programs. This type of care happens after treatment, in a formal sense, is over. A person can go in when they need to on a less specific basis. This may empower a person to get the support they need during difficult times or rough patches.
