Approximately 25.8 percent of Americans reported binge drinking in the last month, according to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism. However, only 7.2 percent of individuals suffering from alcohol use disorder (AUD) received treatment within the last year. The statistics don’t lie: there’s an alarming alcohol abuse problem in the United States. If you’re an alcoholic, it’s essential to remember that you’re not alone, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Here at United Recovery Project, we have various substance abuse treatment options, including our alcohol partial hospitalization program (PHP). Individuals suffering from alcoholism symptoms first enter our alcohol detox center to flush alcohol from their symptoms and overcome the adverse side effects of withdrawal.

After successfully completing the alcohol detox program, recovering addicts can begin our alcohol partial hospitalization program if they live in a substance-free home or move into a sober living community. During their time in the partial hospitalization program, recovering addicts participate in various alcohol addiction therapy programs that help alleviate the pain caused by their alcohol dependency, develop lifelong skills, and overcome trauma.

What is an Alcohol Partial Hospitalization Program?

Our alcohol hospitalization program is the “middle ground” between our inpatient residential treatment and intensive outpatient program. Clients receive the same level of care as those in inpatient residential treatment but return to a substance-free home or a luxurious sober residence at the end of the day. Guests attend one-on-one and group therapy sessions and participate in various activities that help them gain independence, build self-esteem, and develop skills to maintain a sober life. Our luxury drug and alcohol rehabilitation center is a safe and welcoming environment where everyone can thrive and meet their recovery goals.

Do You Qualify for Our Alcohol Partial Hospitalization Program?

You’re an excellent fit for our alcohol partial hospitalization program if you can answer “yes” to the below questions:

  • Have you gone through a medical detox center or residential drug and alcohol addiction treatment program?
  • Do you reside in a home that’s free from substances?
  • If you don’t live in a substance-free home, do you plan on moving into a sober living residence?
  • Do you want to understand the root causes of your addiction while you receive valuable support from our professional staff?
  • Would you enjoy participating in various forms of therapy, such as art, equine, and music therapies?

Our Effective Approach to Alcohol Abuse Treatment

Upon entering our alcohol partial hospitalization program, clients receive a tailored treatment plan that sets the stage for the recovery journey. We have separate housing for men and women to ensure that our clients can foster in environments free from distractions and triggers. However, our luxury addiction treatment is co-ed. Clients participate in various healing therapy programs, weekend activities, and 12-step meetings during their time in our alcohol partial hospitalization program.

Healing Therapy Programs

Here at United Recovery Project, we have a wide selection of therapy programs that enable clients to alleviate stressors, discover the root causes of their addictions, and develop skills for lifelong sobriety.

Here’s a glimpse at some of the therapy options offered in our alcohol hospitalization program:

Equine Therapy

Most clients aren’t aware of the healing benefits of horses until they come to United Recovery Project. However, imagine the love and joy you feel when you spend time with your pet dog or cat. You can feel the same unconditional love from a horse. Even though they can’t speak, horses still form invaluable bonds with humans. While clients don’t ride the horses, they spend time grooming, scratching, and performing groundwork with the equine. It’s a win-win for both the horse and recovering addict.

Life Skills Training

Addiction weakens essential life skills that are essential to maintaining relationships as well as physical and mental well-being. Our life skills training program helps clients develop and improve:

  • Communication skills
  • Education
  • Health and wellness skills
  • Problem-solving
  • Self-awareness

Art Therapy

Art is a powerful form of self-expression that doubles as a coping mechanism. Our licensed counselors lead art therapy sessions where clients create meaningful artwork using clay, charcoal, ink and paint. Since some emotions are too difficult to express verbally, art is an excellent outlet to convey your feelings while you de-stress and improve your self-esteem.

Music Therapy
We wholeheartedly believe in the concept of “music as medicine.” Music evokes positive and negative emotions, making us reminisce or think about the future. Our music therapy sessions focus on music’s beneficial qualities, including its ability to promote relaxation and enhance your mood. During music therapy, you can listen to or discuss your favorite songs, play instruments, and even get down to the music.

Trips to the Florida Coast

Our convenient location in South Florida enables our clients to take frequent trips to the picturesque coastline. Visiting the beach is an excellent way to get fresh air, soak in the radiating Floridian sun, and relax while listening to the waves hit the shore.

Nutrition Workshops

Eating a nutritionally balanced diet goes a long way, especially when you’re working to regain physical and emotional strength. During our nutrition workshops, you’ll learn which foods provide the most value during our nutrition workshops and which foods you should limit or avoid. As you begin to embrace a healthier diet, you’ll notice improved energy and enhanced mental focus. At the same time, you’ll build natural immunity and promote cell regeneration.

A Serene Setting in South Florida

Your environment plays a huge role in healing and achieving lifelong sobriety. Our desirable South Florida location means no gloomy or cold winters. Instead, you’ll enjoy summer-like temperatures year-round. Not only that but there are hundreds of local 12 step meetings, making South Florida the perfect place for recovering addicts to benefit from an abundance of therapy programs while networking with individuals who share a common goal.
