Addiction Treatment in Massachusetts

With the highest population of people in the New England region and a rich history of culture, Massachusetts is a diverse and beautiful place to live. However, this state is not immune to the drug and alcohol epidemic that is rapidly affecting Americans everywhere. When you or someone you know is suffering from the effects of substance abuse in Massachusetts, don’t give up. United Recovery Project offers hope to all those who need help on their path to healing. Providing specialized care many regular drug and alcohol treatment centers in Massachusetts simply don’t offer, United Recovery Project is a luxury drug and alcohol rehab center located in Hollywood, Florida.

Drug and Alcohol Abuse in Massachusetts

The National Institute on Drug Abuse reported in its Massachusetts Opioid Summary that, “Massachusetts ranked among the top ten states with the highest rates of drug overdose deaths involving opioids. In 2017, there were 1,913 drug overdose deaths involving opioids…” This statistic alone is not unlike those from many other states around the nation involving the opioid problem. America’s Health Rankings Annual Report shows that the number of people binge drinking in the United States increased by 21.3% in 2017. People across the country and right here in the state of Massachusetts desperately need both drug rehab centers and alcohol abuse treatment centers, and while you may be suffering in Massachusetts, that’s not where you have to work through your recovery process. United Recovery Project offers both outpatient and inpatient drug rehab as well as an alcohol detox program.

Looking Outside of Massachusetts Treatment Centers for Help

It is extremely tempting to relapse when there are triggers of familiar friends and family all around you. When the very people that influenced you to try drugs and alcohol in the first place live near you, it’s hard to ignore their convincing arguments that you don’t need addiction treatment. The best thing you can do is get away from all reminders of your life with drugs and alcohol. That’s why traveling to the sunshine state and enjoying our beautiful facility in Hollywood, Florida is the answer. At United Recovery Project, we will help arrange your travel plans so that you get here safely. Because you’ll be far from home, you’ll be able to enjoy a completely new environment around people who don’t know your past and won’t judge you. You will have a wonderful support group to rely on when things get hard, and they will help you overcome urges to relapse. Attending a Massachusetts rehab center can hinder recovery if you go through something hard and decide to give up on rehab. When you’re far from home, it’s harder to leave rehab and go back to your old habits, meaning your chances of success are greater.
